The Canada Dry Victoria Dragon Boat Festival takes place from June 19 to June 21, 2026.
Shifting from its usual August dates to avoid conflicts with the David Foster Foundation and the FIFA World Cup, this year's event features a jam-packed schedule of sport, culture, and community.
Key Festival Highlights:
Dates: June 19–21, 2026. The main racing day for the Inner Harbour is Saturday, June 20.
Location: Inner Harbour and Ship Point, Victoria.
The Course: Paddlers will race on a thrilling 250-metre sprint course designed so spectators can easily view the action from the start to the finish line.
Land Festivities: Beyond the races, Ship Point will host live music, cultural performances, and food and beverage services.
Special Event: On Sunday, June 21, the Victoria Chinatown Museum Society is hosting a "Searching for Dragons in Chinatown" walking tour led by local historian John Adams.
