The Year of the Dragon starts on February 10 and continues for 15 days. If you were born in the Year of the Dragon (1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 or 2024), you are thought to be ambitious, energetic and charismatic. Dragons are natural leaders, confident and risk takers. They have magnetic personalities in social and professional circles. Experts advise Dragons to be cautious on how they spend their energy and money and to avoid unnecessary conflicts this year. The colours red and purple are predicted to bring luck to Dragons.
The Victoria Canada Chinese Friendship Association will celebrate the Year of the Dragon with a luncheon on Sunday, February 18, at 11:30 am. at Sun Wah Restaurant, 1515 Cook Street.

Visitors and new members are always welcome at our events, so please come and invite your friends too! There is parking in front of the restaurant and also on the street.
