March 22nd AGM & Dinner Postponed and our COVID-19 response
Dear VCCFA members,
With the recent public health advice to make organizational decisions towards ‘social distancing’ to flatten the curve and prevent spread of COVID-19 in Canada, our “in-person” meetings such as the monthly speaker events have been put on hold over the next few months until further notice. This will include the March 22nd AGM. The VCCFA executive team will continue monitor the situation closely. Announcements and updates will be provided on our website.

The CCFS fundraising campaign to purchase medical supplies for hospitals in China has ended on February 23, 2020. We would like to thank you for your support and contribution in this meaningful endeavour. The Bethune International Peace Hospital, the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (BPAFFC), and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) expressed their deepest appreciation for our sincere care for the frontline medical staff, our letters of encouragement, help and full support of CCFS and all Canadian friends during the challenging time presented by the COVID-19 outbreak.
